Kayu Nasi Kandar @ Kulim
This commercial restaurant interior presents a contemporary tropical–modern design that emphasizes openness, natural light, and a strong connection to nature. A central indoor courtyard with greenery and a mature tree becomes a calming focal point, visible through glass panels that maintain visual continuity while defining spaces. White columns, exposed aggregate flooring, and patterned tile inlays create a clean yet textured base, while dark wood lattice screens and ceiling finishes add warmth and architectural depth. The bar area features light-toned tiled surfaces, warm wood accents, woven rattan pendant lights, and ceiling fans, reinforcing a relaxed resort-like ambiance. Complemented by minimalist furniture, lush potted plants, and a sculptural black spiral staircase, the overall design balances modern commercial functionality with an inviting, tropical dining atmosphere.
